SD-WAN · MPLS REPLACEMENT · FAILOVER AND REDUNDANCY

SD-WAN, and what to move to when your MPLS is going away

Two internet lines. It picks the better one, by itself.

MPLS used to be two physical circuits tying two locations together. SD-WAN does that job over IP, so the circuits come off the bill and it runs on two internet lines instead. If one drops, it moves to the other on its own. There is never a cost for our services.

// WHY PEOPLE CALL

Five reasons a business calls us about SD-WAN

Something changed on the network, or a carrier handed you a date.

// MPLS IS ENDING

Carrier says your MPLS is going away?

They will offer you their own SD-WAN, on their own network. We price it across every carrier that reaches each of your sites, then bring you the two that actually fit.

// A SITE WENT DARK

One line drops and the whole location stops?

A second line from a different carrier keeps it trading. SD-WAN moves the traffic across on its own, so nobody has to notice or call anyone.

// GUEST WI-FI

Guest Wi-Fi sharing the line with your staff?

SD-WAN splits guest traffic off the network your team works on. It is handled inside the box, with no second circuit to order.

// PAYING MPLS PRICES

Paying MPLS money for MPLS speed?

Two business internet lines usually cost less than one MPLS circuit and carry more bandwidth. We price both against each other before you commit to either.

// IS IT WORTH IT

Not sure it is worth it at your size?

Sometimes it is not. One location on one reliable line rarely needs SD-WAN, and you will hear that from us. That answer costs nothing either.

// NOT SURE WHICH ONE

Not sure which one is you?

Send us the MPLS bill and we will tell you what replaces it, what it costs, and whether it is worth doing at all. There is never a cost for our services.

// WHAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET

Four things SD-WAN actually does once it is in

Replace MPLS between your locations

Run two internet lines at once

Split guest Wi-Fi off the network your staff uses

Run it at one location or at all of them

An advisor reviewing a multi-site network design
A row of lit branch locations at dusk
// WHY AN ADVISOR

Why companies have SD-WAN designed instead of buying it from one carrier

Your carrier will offer you their own SD-WAN, on their own network, because that is the only one they have. We price the design across every carrier that reaches each of your sites, then bring you the two that actually fit.

There is never a cost for our services.

The Abadi Group has been instrumental in updating our communications services for our business. The Abadi Group negotiated a better agreement for our internet and phone providers than what we could do independently and continues to be a valuable resource for our telecommunication needs on an ongoing basis. I value the relationship we have and am thankful that it will continue.

We had an outstanding experience working with Abraham throughout a large and complex IT transformation project. He was an invaluable resource from start to finish, assisting with pricing, facilitating communication between our team and multiple vendors, and consistently keeping the project moving forward. What stood out most was his responsiveness and willingness to advocate on our behalf. Whenever we encountered issues or needed troubleshooting support from a vendor, he was proactive about getting the right people involved, following up, and making sure problems did not stall progress. He helped simplify communication, provided valuable guidance, and made the entire process significantly easier to manage. We truly felt like we had someone in our corner throughout the project. His professionalism, reliability, and commitment to ensuring things were handled correctly exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend him to any organization looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and dependable telecommunications advisor.

// SEND US THE BILL

We will tell you what replaces your MPLS

Send the bill you already have. We price the lines that replace it across every carrier reaching each site, then put the number next to what you pay now. There is never a cost for our services.

// HOW IT WORKS

How we do it

Four steps. You send the MPLS bill, or the internet bills you want consolidated. We do the other three.

Send us the MPLS bill, or both internet bills

No complicated forms. Forward what you’re paying now. The bill tells us the locations, the carrier and the term you’re on, so you don’t need to know what to ask for. If you’re consolidating rather than leaving MPLS, send every site.

We check what actually reaches each of your locations

SD-WAN sits on top of internet lines, so the lines come first. Availability changes street by street. We check every one of your service addresses against over 150 carriers nationwide before anybody quotes you a price.

We design the SD-WAN and quote the lines under it

We use proprietary pricing software, updated in real time, then narrow it to the two or three builds worth considering. Guest Wi-Fi separated from your users, or not. Two lines at one site, or lines at every site. If an option carries a construction cost or a long lead time, you hear about it before you sign anything.

We order it and we stay on the account

You sign one document. We handle the carrier side and the install dates on both lines. Cable can be live in a few days. Fiber runs twenty to thirty days, longer where there’s construction, and those are the circuits the SD-WAN rides on. After that every trouble ticket comes to us, and we have direct contact with carrier management.

// FAQ

Common questions

What is SD-WAN, in plain English?

MPLS used to be two physical circuits tying two locations together. SD-WAN does the same job over IP, so there are no circuits anymore and you save money that way. It takes two internet lines and uses whichever one is working best at that exact moment. If one fails, it fails over automatically.

Is SD-WAN a replacement for MPLS?

It’s the replacement most companies land on. Our suppliers have stopped selling MPLS, and metro Ethernet has gone the same way. If your carrier has told you your MPLS is ending, send us the bill and we’ll price what goes in its place across over 150 carriers.

Do you need more than one location for SD-WAN to make sense?

No. Multi-location is the common case, but a single location works too. The question isn’t how many buildings you have. It’s whether you’re coming off MPLS, or trying to consolidate internet services and get redundancy. Either one of those is what SD-WAN is for.

Can SD-WAN keep guest Wi-Fi off the network our staff uses?

Yes. Guest Wi-Fi traffic on one side, your general users on the other, and the SD-WAN handles the separation. There’s no second circuit to order for it. Tell us you want it before the design is finished and it goes in.

How long does it take to get SD-WAN running?

The SD-WAN waits on the internet lines underneath it. Cable can be live in a few days once the order goes in. Fiber runs twenty to thirty days, and longer where there’s construction on the building. Call us before you commit to a cutover date, not after.

// GET STARTED

Send us the MPLS bill and see what replaces it

Most companies on MPLS are paying for circuits somebody sold them years ago, and nobody is selling those circuits now. Send us the bill. We’ll price the two internet lines that replace them across over 150 carriers, then show you what the SD-WAN does with them and what comes off your invoice. If you’re better off sitting where you are until the term runs out, we’ll tell you that instead. Feel free to pick our brain.
