OFFICE MOVES · CARRIER NEUTRAL SINCE 1993
Independent telecom advisory for office moves and new locations
No more telecom headaches on moving day.
Signing a lease, fitting out a floor, or opening somewhere new? Fiber runs 20 to 30 days, so the cheapest question you'll ever ask us is what's available at that address. There is never a cost for our services.
Top brands trust us

Why movers use an advisor instead of calling carriers
No quota, so no pressure to order more than the move needs
A carrier rep is paid to close what that carrier sells. We’d rather you open on time than buy a bigger circuit than the new floor needs.
Over 150 carriers, checked at the new address
Fiber isn’t everywhere, and what the building next door has tells you nothing. Cogent may serve your new suite with dedicated fiber while Verizon is the better fit around the corner.
One number to call while the move is running
No finger pointing between the internet company, the phone company and the cabler. Install dates, landlord approvals, porting and the demarc all come back to us.
We'll tell you when a build isn't worth it
We once flagged a $2,000 extension fee on a fiber build with another $2,500 behind it, and moved that client to the cheaper option instead. Better to hear it before the lease than after.
Four things companies order before a move
Business Internet and Fiber
- Fiber, cable and dedicated internet at the new address
- Checked at the suite, not the zip code
- Fiber runs 20 to 30 days, cable a few days
- Ask before you sign the lease, not after
Business Phone and VoIP
- The phone system, what most people now call VoIP or UCaaS
- Numbers ported on their own clock, so start 30 days out
- Keep every number you already advertise
- Desk phone, laptop and cell ringing together on day one
Opening More Than One Location
- Internet, phone, cell bills, hotspots and Starlink
- Every new site brought onto one bill
- One number to call for all of it
- A portal that flags a line going down
Contact Center Software with AI
- Cover for the weeks when calls are landing in two places
- AI built in, and we think it should be exposed rather than buried
- Routing so nothing drops while the office is in transit
- Quoted alongside the phone system, not separately
What to do, and when
Most of the trouble we see starts because somebody found out the timeline after the lease was signed.
Ask what's available at that address
Fiber isn’t everywhere, and what the building next door has tells you nothing. This is the cheapest question you will ever ask us.
Order the circuit
This is the single step that decides whether you open on time. Everything else can be fixed in a week. This one can’t.
Confirm the building entry point
Find out whether the landlord has to approve a new run into the suite. Landlord approval is the delay nobody budgets for.
Order the phones
Numbers have to be ported, and porting runs on its own clock. Starting this late is why companies move in with internet and no phones.
- Porting runs on its own clock, start it 30 days out
- Keep your existing numbers
- No gap between the old office and the new one
Schedule the install and get the demarc in writing
Ask for the demarcation point in writing. It tells your cabler where the carrier stops and your network starts.
Test before everyone arrives
Not after. If something is wrong you want to find it on a quiet Friday, not with 40 people waiting. Send us the address and we’ll tell you what’s available there.
A family business sourcing voice and data since 1993
- Chuck Abadi founded the Abadi Group in 1993, selling long distance
- Long distance became local phone, then voice circuits, then internet
- We've sold every one of them and watched every one get replaced
- That is why we are not biased toward any particular service provider
- Abraham Abadi is Director of Partner Programs and runs the accounts today
- Carrier neutral across over 150 carriers, with no quota on any of them
How it works before a move
Four steps. You send the address. We do the other three.
Send us the new address
No complicated forms. The address is enough to start. If you have the current bill too, that tells us what you’re paying now and what to beat.
We check what's actually available there
Availability changes street by street and floor by floor. We check the new suite against over 150 carriers nationwide, ideally before you sign.
We quote it and tell you the real timeline
Two or three options, with what each one actually takes to install. If the fiber build won’t land before your move-in date, we say so instead of selling it.
We order it and hold the date
You sign one document. We handle the carrier, the landlord approval, the demarc, the install and every trouble ticket after you move in.
Handling the move yourself vs. using an advisor
Handling it yourself
- One network. If it doesn't reach the new suite, start again.
- The rep has a quota to hit this month.
- You find out about the construction fee late.
- Landlord approval is the delay nobody budgets for.
- You move in with internet and no phones.
Handing it to us
- Over 150 carriers, checked at the new suite before you sign.
- No quotas here, so we'll tell you to skip an expensive build.
- A real install timeline, not an optimistic one.
- We chase the carrier and the landlord, not you.
- You pay the carrier. You pay us nothing.

The Abadi Group has been instrumental in updating our communications services for our business. The Abadi Group negotiated a better agreement for our internet and phone providers than what we could do independently and continues to be a valuable resource for our telecommunication needs on an ongoing basis. I value the relationship we have and am thankful that it will continue.Posted on Google![]()

We had an outstanding experience working with Abraham throughout a large and complex IT transformation project. He was an invaluable resource from start to finish, assisting with pricing, facilitating communication between our team and multiple vendors, and consistently keeping the project moving forward. What stood out most was his responsiveness and willingness to advocate on our behalf. Whenever we encountered issues or needed troubleshooting support from a vendor, he was proactive about getting the right people involved, following up, and making sure problems did not stall progress. He helped simplify communication, provided valuable guidance, and made the entire process significantly easier to manage. We truly felt like we had someone in our corner throughout the project. His professionalism, reliability, and commitment to ensuring things were handled correctly exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend him to any organization looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and dependable telecommunications advisor.Posted on Google![]()

Common questions
How long does business internet take to install at a new office?
Cable is a few days once the order goes in. Fiber runs 20 to 30 days, and longer where the building needs construction work. Order it before you sign the lease.
Can I just move my current service to the new address?
Usually not well. Your current carrier may not be the best fit at that location, and they will try to sell you what they have rather than what you need. Telecom is building specific.
What is a construction fee and when does it show up?
When fiber has to be extended into the building. We once flagged a $2,000 extension fee on a build with another $2,500 behind it, and moved that client to the cheaper option instead.
What happens if the phones don't port in time?
You move in with internet and no phones, which for most businesses is the same as being closed. Start the port 30 days out.
Make your next telecommunications decision the right one
Send us the address of the new office and we’ll tell you what’s available there, what it costs, and how long it takes. Before you sign the lease, ideally. There is never a cost for our services.
